Just a couple of weeks ago we were caught up in the chaos of Christmas, rushing around to wrap presents, eating chocolates off the tree and googling how not to burn a turkey. Suddenly it’s the New Year and everyone is talking about resolutions, with inspirational quotes scattered across social media and whispers of ‘new year, new me’ in the office.
It’s easy to over-indulge during the festivities, and you’re not alone if your waistband is feeling a little tight, or you’re feeling sluggish and struggling to wake up during these cold, dark mornings. We think that life is too short to not enjoy yourself, but you deserve to feel comfortable in your body, and exercise is well known to get those endorphins pumping too.
At 24 Fit Derby we believe there’s no time like the present, and the majority of our classes are back up and running from 7th January. Many of our classes are suitable for all fitness levels, so you don’t need to be a gym-bunny to come and try us out, and if you’ve tried our classes before we’d love to see some familiar faces.
If you’ve returned to work after the Christmas break and your boss is driving you up the wall, I thoroughly recommend trying Pound. It’s a great stress reliever, as you release tension and rock out to some truly epic tunes. There’s classes across Derby on 4 different days a week, so you’ll be struggling to find an excuse!
So although Christmas may be well and truly over, don’t let the opportunity of a New Year pass you by.
